Laboratory of Participation and Democratic Innovation of Andalusia

Laboratorio 717 (named after the Ley 7/2017, de 27 de diciembre, de Participación Ciudadana de Andalucía) is an open space for the analysis and exploration of participatory processes taking place throughout the region of Andalusia. The mapping of existing experiences on citizen participation is intended to contribute to the development and application of the aforementioned law in Andalusia.

The Law 7/2017, of December 27, on Citizen Participation of Andalusia aims for the regulation of the right of citizen participation in relation to regional and local public affairs under conditions of equality, as well as for the promotion of its exercise within the framework established in the European treaties, the Spanish Constitution, and the Statute of Autonomy.
